Dan Rasmus is a seasoned trial attorney and mediator known for his meticulous preparation, practical judgment, and thoughtful approach to problem-solving. Whether advocating in the courtroom or guiding parties through mediation, he focuses on practical solutions and effective outcomes. He maintains a broad civil litigation and dispute resolution practice and represents individuals, businesses, nonprofits, and estates in complex legal matters.
Dan believes effective legal representation begins with understanding both the legal issues and the people involved. As he explains, “We meet people at challenging and important times in their lives — usually when they have a problem that needs to be solved.” Clients value his steady guidance, collaborative approach, and unwavering integrity.

Before entering private practice, Dan served as a prosecutor and later taught legal writing at William Mitchell College of Law. He earned his undergraduate degree from Concordia College and his law degree from William Mitchell College of Law.
